Edinburgh Handedness Inventory:
R.C. Oldfield published the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory in 1971. The inventory is a scale of measurement used to determine the dominant hand of a person in everyday activities. An observer can use the scale to asses a person or a person can use the scale to self-report dominant hand use. The scale is less reliable when self-reported. It is used in various scientific studies.
